Scribbly Gum

When walking alongside Lake Jindabyne this morning, I came across one of my favourite eucalypts. The scribbles are caused by moth larvae burrowing between the bark and the trunk and are revealed when the gum sheds. I had difficulty choosing a photo today because the lake was still and beautiful...see extra photo.
