Asters....

....basking in late afternoon sunlight.

I'm thrilled with these delicate sprays of flowers holding their little heads up towards the sun, attracting honey bees and tiny katydids. Quite often when these flowers are in bloom storms roll through causing them to fall to the ground, they never recover, fingers crossed they remain standing for a while yet.

Another pleasant autumnal day, blue sky with the sun beating upon one's back as birds flitter from tree to tree as I continue to tackle the weeds.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by yesterday sending gentle strokes and such kind words to Pup Pup. As today has progressed she's become more like her old self, of course she's still being showered with plenty of cuddles :)
