Mark of Respect

The tomb and mausoleum of David Hume, Philosopher and sceptic, Born: April 26, 1711, Edinburgh, Died: August 25, 1776. Old Calton Cemetery, Edinburgh.

This graveyard is a fantastic place which has been ransacked over the centuries. All the mausoleums are empty, some used as shelters by the homeless at night. All are empty now, with stones memoralising their occupants fallen and broken.
