Not a good weekend

We decided to have a family weekend away at Jenolan Caves and picked this weekend. It was arranged ages ago so the shift workers could requests their days off. Jenolan Caves was not really suitable for families so we decided we might try isbi’s farm at Megalong, but that didn’t suit either. After some discussion we chose a day outing to Wentworth Falls for a picnic and bushwalking around the lake. It wasn’t a good weekend to choose. Flooding rain has closed national parks, Jenolan Caves have cancelled all bookings and the road looks like it is closed and isbi’s farm looks like it might be inaccessible as well. Plan D is lunch at our house. The kids will love it as they can play hide and seek for hours. Saves driving!
