For Snowy

I heard new today that our friend from Wanaka Snowy (Madge Snow) stepped off the mortal coil just over a week ago. Sleepyhead and I got to visit with her one glorious Wanaka afternoon...we sat and chatted for ages and then we piled up into her car to wizz us around her beautiful garden....she sure had a green thumb that woman.
Then there was the shortbread....probably the best I have ever tasted...I couldn't stop eating it..we left with a bag full of it.

The fragrance of this rose is as beautiful as she looks..Snowy would of loved it ......and I feel that the memories she left behind of herself..the love of her garden is as exquisite and quintessential as the fragrance of this rose.
