Examen

Every night at 10pm our household comes together to do 'examen' - begun by Ignatius of Loyola. We light a candle, then sit in silence reflecting on the day and asking God to illumine our day, and then go round and share one thing that gave us life that day and one thing that took life. This is my sister writing what were saying - we're writing them down each evening so we can go back and look over our answers to see if there are any patterns that imply we should do more or less of something or change how we do them.
