I Never Knew That (#1001)

I probably have have not known more than a thousand things, but one has to make a start all be it an arbitrary one.

I noticed this plaque on my way home from the Botanics by means of Warriston Crescent way and it seems the great composer did indeed spend a night at the home of Dr Lyszcynski’s but it seems his visit to Scotland, by a 12 hour train journey, was a bit depressing with not enough contact with young folk amongst other complaints.
