Rose Is Fading

This was my Valentine's rose. It really held up well. Right till a month later, 14th March it was more rose than fade. Now it's more fade than rose. Still fading beautifully.

Was back commuting by bike today. Was glorious but was sore on wrist. Changing gears hard and wrist aching from start really. Still, not sore after cycling really, so hopefully all part of recovery. If we are supposed to be doing a big family cycle holiday, I'll need to see a marked improvement.

I genuinely was bursting with smiles today and am sure it was the bike. True, it was a sunny day and we put in a bloody good proposal for the Town Hall, so those things will have contributed but I'm pretty sure the elation came from the bike.
