An intriguing trunk

which reminds me of an adventure we had when in Sidney. We visited tbe house of May Gibbs who was a children's author early-mid last century.

I met a cousin in Melbourne and her husbands uncle was the architect of the house where May lived and it was suggested we make time to find it when staying there. The house was wonderful and open to the public and where the guide moved seamlessly from speaking English to French to accommodate the other two women present. Its quite a long story however May’s stories included stories of bush babies.

A lovely wander with C, mostly staying on her land, we spent a glorious few minutes standing to admire the view and her garden.
