On the patio

The patio is quite full of flowers in the pots at the moment, and looks very welcoming in the sunshine. Our spiky tree is doing really well - we bought it when we first moved in - nearly fifty years ago, and we never expected it to survive - but it has had no particular attention and we are delighted with it!! It does not seem to mind how cold it gets in the winter. We are now looking forward to the tulips coming into flower!
