Trumpet flowers

The boys call daffodils 'trumpet flowers'. They are one of my favourite flowers. I went for a lunch time walk with the husband, this picture doesn't do justice to the sea of daffodils in the drive of the Manor House in a neighboring village. 

Boys were collected from school by Grandpa today, apparently he has 'the best' car (whispered to me at dinner time by the youngest).

Lunch time walk with the husband, was great to be out
