A Calm afternoon
Deb's still poorly, and we had the Openreach engineer calling to sort out our internet (which slowed down to a crawl this week). Turned out that the connections in the box down the road had got muddled up.
We, and our two neighbours have decided to plant a hedge on the other side of our road, so the three of us spent much of the day digging a trench and planting Hawthorn, Holly & Beech to give an array of different colours.
After we'd done the work, I took a walk down to the edge of the lake - which was wonderfully peaceful and calm. It felt great to look at the lovely cool bluesand the reflections of Catbells
