PORT TO PUB

The swimmers were in the water at 630am for the Port to Pub swim, ie from North Fremantle to Thompson Bay, Rottnest Island - 19.7 kilometres (in a straight line).
These are the solo swimmers tee-ing off at 630am and in this group is Ali's son, James.  He is the third person from the camera, with a very white chest, in the line of three bathing caps.  James spent 6.5 hours in the water.  I think he's a champion to swim all that way on his own - they all are.   When I say on his own, he did have a paddler as company and a boat for support offering water and other necessities.   Yay!! for James.  :))

MrD and I are off to babysit the little girls tonight.  Fingers crossed they remain asleep.
