Spring Scene

Celebrated the official arrival of Spring by putting up this bracket to hang a bird feeder from. It means I get an excellent view of their comings and goings from the kitchen window and they can reach it from the cover of the hedge, which gives them more security. Within about five minutes we had a blue tit, a nuthatch and (of course) the robin coming to check it out.
The flowers are artificial (though reasonably convincing) but I have plans next week to get out in search of the real thing.
