A couple of b/w photos of Kirkgate on a beautiful sunny day in Ripon. The cathedral has a long history and is the fourth to have stood on this site. There has been a church here since 672 when St Wilfrid replaced the previous timber church with one of stone. And soon Kirkgate will resume as the bustling food/art/clothing/antiques centre again.
