Cheltenham Promenade
It's amazing to think that someone thought getting rid of all the red phone boxes was a good idea.
So iconic, and really make the place look British.
Luckily it seems that some places realised what they were about to lose, and ensured they kept them.
This is what Banksy appears to think of BT's decision to get rid of them :)
Now, I have a query for all you fellow blippers. I have 2 cameras (well actually about 5, but 2 that I currently alternate between), a Nikon D80 and a Canon IS220.
The Nikon is lovely, I love the weight of the SLR, and the ability to focus where I want, get the right DOF etc; however the Canon does lovely funky things like this photo. Allowing me to retain a colour.
If I take RAW alongside my JPG's, how easy would it be to create this same effect afterwards with some PC based software; and can anyone recommend a must have.
I assume they need to be in RAW, but happy to edit JPGs if possible.
I don't mind paying if it will do the job.
My current PC set up is a HP Pavilion laptop running Win7, with a desktop that needs a complete re-build (if I ever think it is worth it).
