Grey Day
Only very brief glimpses of the sun today but one of them was enough to tempt me to go to the shop without a coat for the first time this year. A quietish day as I shake off the lingering effects of the vaccine, I woke in the night feeling vaguely fluey but it's all been pretty low level stuff, more like the washed out feeling you can have after a virus.
We took Meg to her first dog agility session this afternoon which was great fun. Jamie's ability to control her well was recognised and she did very well for a first go at a new activity in a new place. At the end Meg just zoomed round and round us for a minute, a sure sign that she thought it was good :-)
Later I planted some rhododendron seed and Jamie made macaroons and cooked chilli for tea while I walked Meg on the beach - more zooming, this time chasing stones I threw - and popped into work to undercoat a skirting board. A good day despite being grey.
Primula 'Pink Aire' a Primula allionii hybrid that's been somewhat neglected in the last year but has still produced a reasonable display of flowers. Flash photography doesn't show this one off to the best effect.
