Life from city to village

Temple Newsam

I was on call last night, but today was then free after 8am, so  after tidying up this morning, my youngest and I went for a walk around Temple Newsam. He is preparing for his first set of A level tests - done by the school this year, so needed a break. We walked up through the woods this time, round the edges of the park, and came across what looked like a mine entrance. The place used to have coal. It was a long walk, but was exactly what we both needed, and lovely to see all the daffodils with the last of the croci.
