Open All Hours

Well, what does one do, when one's building buddy and long time drinking companion sources a prime lump of kiln dried oak, sets up a jig and inscribes it for you, and then presents it to you with a big silly grin on his big silly face.?
Obviously one puts up said inscribed lump of of oak and opens for business.
