Saltheart

I don't think this narrowboat moored by the lock at Parndon ever moves. A woman on board was feeding the wildfowl this afternoon.

I've tried to find out about the history of the vessel without much success. I read that at one time it was used for adventure trips for scout parties. I'm wondering whether, given the name, it started out hauling salt from the Cheshire mines.
