You have to keep warm...

... I have put wool from the insulation packing that our Friday steak dinner was wrapped in to keep cold.  However, it is not to keep the Lupin warm I am thinking it might keep the slugs away.  I have quite a bit so will be putting it around a few things - it has to be better than throwing it away. 

We had a quick trip to the allotment, Rich cut the grass for me and I planted 150 onions.  We should be okay for next winter. 

Back home, Rich cleaned the car and I top dressed the grass and put down more seed (lots of seed).  The grass is better than it was last year but still lots missing.  Hopefully we can help it recover and it will be looking better within a month.
