"The King" and courtiers (ie mum and dad) came over for a brief visit and we walked up to the village playground. He's developed a lot since last week, as they do at 18 months - more words, moving quicker and more confidently etc. More confident and excited than as well, having now got used to seeing us f2f after a few months zooms.

Another day, another Covid test this time in preparation for my hospital appointment on Monday (arranged yesterday). My fourth PCR, the first at Newark Hospital and the first to be administered by someone else. Much quicker and pleasanter for it! 

Our son received another University offer (Sheffield) and had a rejection from Liverpool (his least favoured option in any event).
