At Wenima
looking upriver, and downstream (extra).
I tried to do more reading today: The book group's choice for April is The Good Lord Bird by James McBride; I've been re-reading In Praise of Folly (moriae encomium) and have embarked on The Shadow of the Torturer the first of the Book of the New Sun quartet by Gene Wolfe.
Richardson's Clarissa is still on my bedside table along with To Kill a Mockingbird . . . by Truman Capote's lifelong friend Harper Lee.
