Tweed

An interview that I did for a talk radio station in New York went out in N. America tonight. The show was called “Threads”, and was on the subject of Scotland. The host was top fashion designer, Joseph Abboud, who is a great fan of my books. Since recording the interview we’ve exchanged emails, and he has offered to co-design with me a version of my favourite Chinese jacket to be tailored from a length of Harris Tweed I was presented as a gift when in the Hebrides researching “The Blackhouse”. What an honor! He wanted pics of the jacket and the tweed, and this is one of the pics I sent him.
