Becalmed cruise ships on the Clyde

Another beautiful day in Glasgow with the sun splitting the heavens. This picture was taken on my iPad at about 8am from the 8th floor of the QEUH building. In order to avoid having the slats of the horizontal louvres (set within the double glazing) cut across the picture I zoomed in about half way and positioned the lens against the glass. This narrowed the angle of view sufficiently to avoid the slats. This does not need to be perfect as cropping can be done later. I do not usually recommend zooming in on an iPad or iPhone but this is a situation when you have no choice. No compromise -no picture! I also decided that a monochrome image would make the white  ships stand out so used the noir filter to add a bit more contrast.
