Another day, another wood. This woodland reserve is along the estuary shore. I must have walked in it 100 times but met someone else on no more than four or five occasions. Ideal for quiet contemplation or for meeting a secret girlfriend. Not that I have ever done that of course.

One of its features is the many hundreds of these Hart’s-tongue ferns which grow on very shady slopes.
