Another blast from the past - Simon who was 7/8ths Thoroughbred and quite manic if I remember rightly. He loved jumping. If you went in a field with a jump in it he would lock onto the jump and you’d be going over it regardless of whether you had intended to or not! I used to ride him for his owner who rarely rode for some reason. I’d be between 14 and 17 I think. I don’t remember competing on him but as I’m wearing a number bib I must have.
