This morning I noticed that all the flowers in the house had died since I had been away. Did they miss me so terribly much I wonder?

It was nice to be back in the kitchen. I haven't felt the energy to make much lately but today I made a large pot of delicious cumin, tomato and lentil soup and a banana and choc chip loaf. My boy was pleased with his after school snack.

He has his head down in the books just now starting his revision for his exams in May. Good lad.
