Co-op Clock
Today's covid walk took us from the New Town into Pilrig and over to Anderson Place where perchance I spied from afar a clocktower peeking over the rooftops.
Once home I discovered that this is the clock tower of the former Leith Provident Co-operative Society building on Great Junction Street in Leith and a local landmark. It was built in 1911and is Category B listed by Historic Scotland.
