Dispossessed?

Or just a bit put out.
The cottage by the old mill pool has just changed hands. The previous owners actively encouraged the swans to use their garden as an extension to their nest site.
The new owners are having none of this, a makeshift fence has been erected. The nest site is untouched, it just doesn't have the "annex" that it once did.
Perhaps this is why the swans have taken to the brook, something they only normally do when they have cygnets in tow.
