Afternoon at the Botanics

We managed to book a slot at the Botanics this afternoon, and it was a beautiful day for it. The rhododendrons are looking wonderful, and I took lots of photos, so choosing one to blip was tricky, but I liked the delicate white flowers of this one contrasting with the red “stalks” (my botanical knowledge is not great, so unsure of the correct terminology!). I even seem to have captured a bee at the bottom.
When we returned home my husband had his much needed garden barber appointment - my hairdressing skills have improved a bit in the past year. I’m sure the nesting birds will find all the bits of hair flying around useful, too!
