Serpent!

Spotted on the lawn this afternoon .
Very impressed when the gov picked it up and put it in the margarine tub. She goes all peculiar at the sight of snakes.
Anyway a very young grass snake that didn’t make it, but an indication that maybe we have more interesting wildlife than just birds and squirrels.
