A Taste of Normality

We had a brunch invitation today, from our friends on Gibson Island who have also been vaccinated.  It was so delightful to sit indoors, without masks, and share a lovely meal in their beautiful home.  

I took both my cameras as there is always something to photograph there, but got so engrossed in conversation and catching up that I completely forgot until we were driving off the island and I saw this cormorant resting on a post out in the water.  Not the most interesting shot, but it's all I've got.
