Field of Gold

Well maybe not quite a field of gold, but there are many more daffodils in bud just waiting for another day or two like this to burst into flower. The fine weather brought is to the Riverside and to Duthie Park. It had brought quite a few others out as well, but we were fairly early and it is a large park, so plenty of room for everybody.

The Park Cafe was had an ice cream counter, so they must have thought an early summery day was on the cards. Despite the sunshine there was a coolish wind from the east but quite tolerable as long as the sun stayed out. Unfortunately in the afternoon the weather clouded over, and in the evening we had rain.
