The Cinq Ports Arms

The Cinq Ports Arms - not on the site of the original pub - that was a bit further up the street and I think got bombed in the war. Used to be called The Railway Hotel when I was in my 20's and was a comfy pubby pub - Built around 1850 to service the new station. Seems to have lost its way culture wise - popular with day trippers having a pint before the train and has it's own group of regulars. Also known as The Stinks. Back garden is pleasantish in the summer though the music can be the wrong side of iffy. I only go here if they're not showing the right football game in The Pipes.
