One of the shrubs.

I had a short chilly walk in the garden this afternoon.The shrub here is the most advanced in flowe It was good to see the roses coming into leaf. Earlier I saw a pair of wood pigeons foraging In the flower beds, but at one point , this afternoon there was a clump of their feathers in a flower bed. I wonder how that came about ?
