End of the Reeds

The progress and decline of the reeds on the pool have been very interesting.  Some are now totally naked and some are still quite fluffy like this one.  I wonder if the birds will be interested in them as potential nesting material?

It's been a lovely day today although it was slow to get going.  I have actually planted some sweetpeas today.  I'm not sure I have spread them out enough but I hope they will survive.  I remember my grandad growing them in years gone by and I loved the scent of them.

On the Vaccine front, Dad now has his appointment for his second jab.  That will be Friday this week.  Another step on the path.
