Architectural Glimpse

Pilton Church stands behind the Almshouses at the top of Pilton High St. It has a lovely golden cockerel wind vane.  Today there were numerous black birds around and one even sitting on its tail!
Pilton is one of the oldest parts of Barnstaple and has many lovely old buildings as there was a Priory here in years gone by.
