Hamstead Marshall.

I went through a place called Hamstead Marshall this afternoon, I stopped to take a picture of the church - see extra. However, I noticed through a gate in the churchyard a field with sheep that contained these two massive gate posts. As I looked around the field, there were a couple of others just the same. I suppose a long time ago there must have been a wall and gates to go with them, they do look odd in the middle of the field!
