Behind bars

Cooler, cloudier day today. 
Walked from Clober up to Mugdock Castle and back.
I like to see the little ferns growing on the stonework of the castle, this one (according to google lens) is a Maidenhair Spleenwort and grows happily in a padlocked doorway behind bars without food or water, very hardy!
