Fighting Moorhen Cocks

A beautifully sunny spring afternoon at Fishers Green. Soon after we arrived I saw and photographed a kingfisher catching a perch nearly as long as its body and then captured the bird flying off afterwards. The pics are too twiggy to post. 

This pair of moorhens, possibly male, were going at it hammer and tongs while another, possibly female, watched.
