Just another manic Monday...

All go again today. Cattle fed then the contractor came on the phone looking for seed barley,so left one on mucking out cows,one on bedding,and loaded up 17 bags of Waggon seed barley onto a trailer and headed off down the road.
Our fields are at the top of a very steep hill up through Gorebridge so it took a while to crawl up with the load but got there in the end after causing a mobile traffic jam !
Back home ,a quick lunch ,then spread a load of fert on the field we got back from the sand quarry last year. It hasn't been drained yet so it was a case of dodging ewes and lambs, and all the wet bits .
Then headed off down the road to see how the seeder was getting on. Back up the road ,filled up the fert spreader and back down the road to do the field Neil was busy sowing. Had Littlemiss and a terrier for co pilots as school was over for the day .
Back home ,cattle fed and in for tea by 8 pm. Not bad going. And it didn't rain,always a bonus !
