Fungi
One of the young figs in Sydney Park has fallen over, providing a micro environment for fungi. I might have to do a mushroom foraging workshop. Gathering wild mushrooms is not a thing here, possibly because death caps closely resemble a straw mushroom prized in Asia.
Extra: If you liked last Wednesday’s Phallus rubicundus, you’ll love today’s field of them. They were a good size, too.
