Sticks Harder Than I Thought

Last minute blip of a phasmid or stick insect. Not a good subject for a rapid photo. Their proportions are a challenge I wasn't up to. And my tripod is in the car boot... A bad workman always blames his tools as they say!
I changed their container beforehand and drenched my t-shirt and trousers in their week-old, defaecated-in, water container as their fodder over-balanced. So that wasn't the best of starts. It was only about 50ml, but still...They also are producing stacks of eggs which I can never quite give in to chucking out so sometime sooner or later there is sure to be an exponential rise in population and more housing required. Whoop dee doo...
Perhaps it's time to get my tropical fish tanks set up and give these phasmids away.
