A view of Casco Bay
Went out for a walk along the road where I work in Portland, Maine.
It was snowing, again :-( This made for gray tones everywhere.
The beauty of water and shore are still present.
Casco Bay is part of Portland's shipping port. It is one of the largest ports on the East Coast. On a clear day this is a spectacular view, often seeing 2 or more cargo ships in the distance.
The land off to the left, is part of MacWorth Island, which once housed a school for the blind. Today it is a place people go to get away from the noise of the city, for walks and picnics.
