Stepping Into The Sunset

I went for a walk to one of my favourite sunset-watching spots, but took a different path to get there. The path was parallel to the field where ‘MY’ log provides a pleasant place to sit. I love how this spot along the path provided a beautiful ‘doorway’ into the field. I found my log, enjoyed a small flask of coffee (decaf) and enjoyed the show.

In other news:
I had lots to do today, but it was a gloriously sunny and warm day, so I ditched those plans and spent the afternoon in my garden.

My gardener visited at lunchtime - his first visit this year - and did his normal quick 45 minute mowing and tidy up. I decided (probably a bit prematurely) to get my garden furniture out of its winter storage in the garage. Now all I need is for the weather to cooperate in coming weeks! Especially since we can finally invite friends to visit us at home (outdoors only) from next Monday.

I sat in the sun and read my book all afternoon and pretended I was on holiday!
