Passing Through

A whizz up to the bike shop in Kentish Town this morning to get the next stage of the Q-Lok saga sorted. After being unable to get the axle out from the front wheel it now wont stay in. BikeShopNick is very helpful and rang the manufacturers who are sending a new one. An example of the service you get if you buy your bike from a local shop.

Pedalling back under this bridge I reflected on the year of the lockdown and those who lost their lives to Covid during those 12 months. One was a doctor who was treating me. Lovely man. I Blipped about it last summer.

Then watching the evening briefing with all the naysayers putting their crass questions : "Why didnt you..."  "Do you regret that..."  "Do you admit we were the worst in Europe..."  etc. 

I thought the scientists' answers were brilliant.

Need some light relief on TV this evening. Now, where's the Radio Times.
