Wallflowers starting

A couple of weeks ago I bought myself a treat of a pot of wee wall plants, the timely rain has served them well. Now they are just starting to bloom.

After walking the river this morning I sat in my fav park this afternoon in the sun. I've gone back to reading Tolstoy's  "War and Peace", I got stuck last time at the battle of Borodino. I was delighted with how easy its been to get immersed in it again from the point I got stuck.
