Meanwhile

Out in the open garden, in a sandy raised bed, Iris magnifica is looking good.   The wind a few days ago ruffled it's feathers and worse is forecast this weekend, maybe I'll try and erect some kind of windbreak.  This bulb was pot grown under glass last year so planted out primed and ready to flower.   The real test is to see whether is flowers again next year after a whole season growing outside here.

Another grey day but also another productive one.   A friendly and supportive visit from Jamie's social worker this morning before I completed his PIP reassessment form.   A couple of useful phone calls, two and a half hours decorating at work and a good zooming-after-balls dog outing added up to a good day's work.
