Hackney Marshes

With the sun peeping through the cloud cover this morning, I couldn’t resist walking the hilly circuit again. Rain is forecast for the rest of the week so I’ll have a rest then.

I’ve ended up expending a great deal of energy in order to take something of interest today.
Nothing throughout my 2hour morning walk.
Nothing at all at the heronry, despite walking up and down for an hour or so and very little happening at Hackney Marshes when I called in on the way home. *
The sky was lovely for a brief spell though.

*A photographer friend who I first met at Stover and often see at Hackney Marshes, has sent me an amazing message this evening.
Apparently, on Sunday, a WHITE TAILED EAGLE was seen flying up the estuary at Hackney Marshes. The 3rd spotting in Devon this month
